On May 17, the 17th Shenzhen International Battery Technology Exhibition (CIBF 2025)—one of the world’s most influential trade events in the new energy sector—came to a successful close.
Exhibiting under its featured theme, SKQ presented its end-to-end capabilities across three core pillars: Turnkey Delivery, Process Innovation, and Digital Empowerment. Providing the global industry with a robust Chinese solution for full-line smart battery manufacturing, SKQ addressed critical manufacturing painpoints such as flexible line layout, rapid deployment, and standardized quality control.

I. Full-Line Capabilities Earn Strong Industry Recognition
Throughout the exhibition, SKQ’s booth was a major hub for in-depth technical exchanges with battery cell manufacturers, automotive OEMs, and research institutes.
By integrating hardware with intelligent software, SKQ’s holistic service framework—combining equipment, process expertise, digitalization, and standardization—effectively addresses common system integration challenges. This integrated approach delivers distinct advantages in line flexibility and rapid project execution.
SKQ also showcased the master plan for Phase II of its Ningde Manufacturing Base. Spanning nearly 100,000 square meters and featuring final assembly bays extending up to 300 meters, this state-of-the-art facility establishes a solid foundation for expanded production capacity and higher operational efficiency, allowing SKQ to better serve a growing global client base.
II. Cutting-Edge Technological Portfolio on Display
Utilizing physical scale models and live big data demonstrations, SKQ provided a comprehensive look into its smart production line solutions for both EV power and ESS (Energy Storage Systems) batteries. The company’s technical breakthroughs in module and PACK assembly lines attracted widespread interest from both in-person visitors and online audiences.
SKQ highlighted three primary areas of technical innovation:
Precision Inspection & Metrology Systems
Integrating high-precision optical vision with X-ray and CT non-destructive testing (NDT), SKQ’s solution covers dimensional measurement, surface defect detection, powder contamination checks, weld inspection, pouch/casing inspection, and 2D/3D positioning. Powered by proprietary AI algorithms, the system exemplifies the true potential of software-defined smart manufacturing.
Advanced Laser Processing Techniques
SKQ demonstrated high-speed laser flying welding technology designed to minimize positioning overhead and deliver fast, repeatable welds. Exhibits included cell casing roughening, combined pre-weld alignment and cleaning, and ultra-high-speed lid scanning welding—meeting the stringent throughput and reliability standards required for battery manufacturing.
Enterprise Digital Solutions
Qihang Technology, SKQ’s digital software division, showcased its unified hardware-software architecture that seamlessly orchestrates factory-floor data flows. Emphasizing data-driven operational efficiency, Qihang highlighted its Qihang AI-Studio Deepseek platform, an intelligent management ecosystem built to drive down costs and optimize operational performance.

III. Elevating Industry Standards for Energy Storage Equipment
According to GGII industry data, global shipments of lithium-ion energy storage batteries surged 120% year-on-year in Q1 2025, extending the rapid installation momentum seen since late 2024.
To address this demand, SKQ featured a dedicated Energy Storage Zone at CIBF 2025. The display featured fully automated and semi-automated assembly solutions for flexible ESS PACK lines and large-scale containerized systems, setting a higher benchmark for intelligent energy storage manufacturing.
IV. Fostering Value Through Open Innovation
SKQ demonstrated its commitment to collaborative R&D and technological progression. Beyond expanding its internal research entities—such as the Advanced Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Research Institute and the Laser Technology Institute—SKQ actively deepens industry-university-research partnerships. Through joint laboratories and specialized talent incubation initiatives, SKQ continues to drive innovation and maintain its technological edge in module/PACK automation.
V. Expanding the Global Service Footprint
Following intensive on-site negotiations, SKQ secured strong buy-in from leading international battery manufacturers across South Korea and Southeast Asia. Partners praised SKQ’s standardized modular architecture for significantly shortening project delivery timelines and overseas commissioning cycles. On-site preliminary cooperation agreements were reached, marking a key milestone in SKQ’s international expansion.
Driving Industry Advancement Through Technical Excellence
While CIBF 2025 has concluded, SKQ’s commitment to innovation remains steadfast. Moving forward, the company will continue to push technical boundaries, expand application frontiers, and empower global partners across the new energy ecosystem.
