From May 13 to 15, the 18th Shenzhen International Battery Technology Exchange and Exhibition (CIBF 2026) concluded successfully.
Coinciding with the start of the “15th Five-Year Plan” for the new energy industry in 2026, the entire sector is shifting from past competition focused on production capacity to a deeper exploration of technological sophistication, global compliance, and full lifecycle value.
At this major industry event centered on a “return to value,” SKQ made a strong debut with its proposition of “Systematic Innovation to Build a Solid Foundation for Industry Certainty.” The company addressed current industry pain points with three “practical” solutions and engaged in a series of high-level industry dialogues.
Addressing the Industry’s Toughest Challenges with “Practical” Solutions
At the exhibition, faced with tough questions from visitors, SKQ directly demonstrated how it transforms “systematic innovation” into practical solutions that address pain points head-on.
To address the inherent collaboration and delivery challenges associated with non-standard equipment, SKQ showcased the S-PACK 3.0 architecture, developed in collaboration with Siemens. Leveraging a library of standard components and modular programming, this architecture ensures efficient collaboration and seamless integration among different engineers, completely eliminating the delivery uncertainties previously caused by individual work habits. Building upon this solid foundation of standardization, the company naturally empowers a global ecosystem, resolving the lingering concerns surrounding non-standard equipment—namely, the challenges of expanding into overseas markets and the chaos of cross-border operations and maintenance.
Amid the industry’s relentless pursuit of “zero defects” and process innovation, SKQ directly addressed the yield bottlenecks associated with traditional heat-shrink film—which is prone to bubbling and creasing—by introducing a UV-printed blue film replacement process. This achieved a major breakthrough in core manufacturing processes, increasing adhesion by 10 times, doubling insulation and dielectric strength, and reducing overall costs by 30%.
At the same time, SKQ remains committed to ensuring quality certainty throughout the entire product lifecycle. Its newly launched Qihang Digital System, featuring AI-powered Predictive Maintenance (PHM), has also made a significant impact. Utilizing a hybrid approach combining “mechanistic modeling and machine learning,” the system successfully upgrades traditional reactive maintenance to proactive defense, truly delivering comprehensive quality assurance from hardware to software.
In addition to deepening its expertise in the core lithium-ion battery sector, SKQ is also opening up new possibilities for its customers amid the rapid development of emerging industries. The production line for micro-motors used in embodied robots, showcased at the event, serves as a prime example of successfully applying the high-precision and high-reliability expertise accumulated in the lithium-ion battery field to other sectors.
This powerfully demonstrates that SKQ’s technological foundation possesses strong “resilience” for cross-sector application, capable of robustly supporting clients’ future supply chain expansion and diversified business development. Through this seamless transfer of underlying technology, SKQ provides clients with a solid foundation in smart manufacturing and comprehensive support as they break into new territories and seize new business opportunities.
Deep Resonance from Industry Think Tanks and Leading Companies at Home and Abroad
The true caliber of a technology is often best judged by the industry’s most discerning eyes. During the exhibition, SKQ’s booth became the undisputed focal point for high-level industry dialogue and shared value.
Wang Zesheng, Secretary-General of the China Association of Chemical and Physical Power Sources, visited the booth in person to offer guidance and spoke highly of SKQ’s long-standing commitment to standardization and intelligent solutions, as well as its forward-thinking approach to helping the entire industry navigate market cycles.
In addition, teams from leading domestic and international companies—including CATL, EVE Energy, and LG—visited the SKQ booth in succession, creating an international “circle of top-tier partners.” The exchanges between the parties went beyond simple technical discussions, delving deeply into how AI and digitalization can effectively reduce full lifecycle costs, as well as the practical implementation of new demands and processes.
This series of in-depth dialogues—bringing together authoritative industry think tanks, leading domestic companies, and cutting-edge global perspectives—perfectly encapsulates the new energy sector’s current shift from “competing on scale and price” to “driving high-quality value across the supply chain.”
In a world of non-standard solutions, helping clients regain “certainty”
For smart equipment, CIBF 2026 is not only a showcase of capabilities but also a “stress test” for global customers.
Faced with a global market full of variables and uncertainties, SKQ will continue to adhere to a standardized underlying logic, combined with continuously evolving process technologies, and is committed to building a highly reliable foundation for smart production lines for global customers in a world of automation filled with non-standardized solutions and variables.
