The Ningde “Digital Craftsman” Skills Competition (Jiaocheng Session) and SKQ’s 3rd Employee Skills Contest recently came to a successful conclusion. The event was hosted by the Ningde Trade Union Federation, co-organized by the Jiaocheng District Trade Union Federation and Ningde SKQ Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., with support from Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL).
On the morning of August 7, the closing ceremony was grandly held at SKQ. Key leadership in attendance included Xu Xianshui, Second-Level Inspector of the Ningde Trade Union Federation; Lin Ruqing, Vice Chairman of the Jiaocheng District Trade Union Federation; Zhan Shuzhi, Deputy Party Secretary and Trade Union Chairman of CATL; and Zheng Ting, Assistant General Manager of SKQ.



In his opening speech, Xu Xianshui highlighted SKQ’s dedication as a staunch practitioner of the “Digital Fujian” strategy. He noted that SKQ, with its persistent focus on R&D and application in intelligent equipment, serves as a primary hub for developing New Quality Productive Forces and digital productivity, making significant contributions to high-quality digital development in Fujian. He emphasized that this competition not only provided a arena for workers to refine their crafts, exchange expertise, and demonstrate excellence, but also built a major platform to promote labor and craftsmanship spirit. By fostering digital talent through competition, the event accelerates the growth of New Quality Productive Forces and the construction of a modern industrial system.
Zheng Ting, Assistant General Manager of SKQ, expressed appreciation for the trust and support from the municipal and district trade unions. He noted that SKQ has hosted the “Digital Craftsman” competition for three consecutive years. This year’s event expanded to 5 major categories and broadened its participant pool to include both upstream core component suppliers and SKQ’s strategic customer, CATL. This represents a breakthrough in exploring joint talent development across the new energy supply chain, providing strong human resources and technical support for digital economic growth.
